As a financial advisor, Tricia J. Salvatore Ludgate, CFP® with decades of experience, helps her clients develop and prioritize their financial goals.  Her practice focuses on a holistic financial planning approach incorporating personalized service to assist clients throughout all stages of their life.  She specializes in investment management, retirement, college, estate and individual tax planning, as well as issues affecting retirees.  

 

Tricia holds her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation and is an Investment Adviser Representative with Sovereign Financial Group, Inc., Stamford, Connecticut an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm.  Tricia is also licensed in the areas of fixed annuities, life, health, disability and long-term care insurance with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.

 

A native of Berks County, Tricia is a graduate of Reading High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University in Business Administration and Management.  Tricia has written articles related to finance and tax for the Women’s Journal and has been quoted in the Reading Eagle, Berks County Living and Lehigh Valley Business multiple times.  She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, National Association of Tax Professionals, the Berks Elder Network and the Berks County Estate Planning Council, where she is a member of their board of directors. 

 

Tricia’s true passion comes from advocating for others without a strong voice, advancing financial literacy and economic empowerment of women.   A dedicated volunteer for over 30 years, Tricia serves on and is past-president of the board at Co-County Wellness Services. She is a member of the women’s giving circle, The Power of the Purse of Berks County, which focuses on enhancing the lives of disadvantaged local women and girls.  She serves on the leadership team of Berks Teens Matter (BTM), a teen pregnancy prevention initiative with a goal to reduce teen pregnancy in Berks County by 40% by year 2022. When not at work, Tricia spends time practicing yoga, hiking and reading.  The best times are spent with her children and extended family and whenever possible, she loves to travel and explore new destinations both near and far.
